  • Prices for Bath & Dry can vary a little. It depends on you dog’s size, coat type and coat condition when they arrive.

    For example, a short-haired Dachshund takes less time than a long-coated Border Collie.

  • The Bath & Dry is simply a quick freshen-up.

    Something ideal between grooming sessions or after a muddy adventure. It doesn’t include trimming or tidying but leaves your dog clean, soft, and comfortable.

  • The fastest and easiest way to book in for an appointment is to give us a call.

    You can also submit a Request to Book, and a member of our team will give you a call back before 5pm to confirm your appointment

  • Your dog’s comfort is our highest priority.

    We understand some pups find grooming stressful, so we offer:

    • Quiet spaces separated away from from the busy salon

    • 8AM appointments when the salon is most peaceful

    • Gentle handling from our patient groomers

    • Step-by-step desensitising programs to build confidence over time

    • 2 groomers working together if extra support is needed

  • Our groomers will advise you what to expect depending on the severity of the matting.

    Matting:     If the matting is in a particular area, in just a few spots, our groomers might say the coat can be de-matted and brushed out.

    Severe Matting:     When larger areas of the coat are matted, our groomers may advise that it will be best for the pup to get a short haircut to remove the mats. Our primary concern is and always will be the comfort and safety of the dog. Our groomers will advise against brushing out large mats because it will be painful for the pup.

    If your dog’s coat is matted, we may ask you to sign a matting release form before the groom. This ensures you understand the risks involved with de-matting.

  • Until we see your dog, we do not know the condition of the coat, your style requests, size of the dog and its behaviour (during the groom).

    We always aim to charge a fair price, but it will be dependent on the time taken to groom your dog.

  • Please allow between 1.5 - 3 hours for a full groom. However, we’ve experienced more matted dogs lately that take longer and may hold up our schedule.

    The Doggy Dooz crew is gentle and we take our time to ensure each pup is comfortable during the process.

  • A brush out is more than a quick comb.

    We work through the dog’s entire coat, right from the skin, to remove knots and tangles.

    Many dog parents brush just the top layer, but that does not stop mats forming underneath.

    A proper brush out removes knots and prevents painful matting.

  • Double-coated breeds (like Huskies, Golden Retrievers, or Border Collies) need regular maintenance to keep their coat healthy.

    We do not shave double coats because it damages their coat and makes the dogs uncomfortable.

    Instead, we use deshedding and grooming techniques to keep their coat healthy, shiny and manage shedding.

    If you’re not sure about your dog’s coat, please give us a call and we’ll walk you through it.

  • Absolutely! To avoid disappointment, we recommend booking repeat grooming sessions 3-6 months in advance.

    Our groomers are in high demand, especially from mid-August onwards and the lead-up to Christmas, so please plan ahead.

  • Yes, we accept walk-ins for selected maintenance services.

    Available MON - SAT from 9am - 1pm.

    Please note grooms always require a booking.
